Varun Dhawan stars in his father’s remake of 1997 hit ‘Judwaa’

Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan stars with Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in Judwaa 2 releasing in cinemas this Dussehra on 29th September 2017. Twenty years from the release of David Dhawan’s blockbuster comic caper Judwaa, the iconic Jodi Raja and Prem will be back as Varun Dhawan steps into Salman Khan’s shoes in the remake of the 1997 hit. The plotline of the film being directed by the master of comedies, David Dhawan, is set in Mumbai and in London and will have the twins create confusion in both these world’s only to save the day in the end.

Superstar Varun Dhawan, who is known for his comic timing, shared the film poster release on twitter in ode to his father/director David Dhawan’s 65th birthday. He wrote: “On #Daviddhawan’s 65th bday here is his 43rd film #Judwaa2. RAJA and PREM Double fun this Dussehra! @foxstarhindi @NGEMovies.” The poster shows two Varuns, donning the ‘shareef’ and ‘tapori’ avatars.

Presented by Fox Star Studios, Judwaa 2 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is set to release in cinemas on 29th September 2017.
