Tamasha is a diverse cohort of bold theatre makers.
We foreground emerging and established artists from culturally diverse backgrounds by producing and touring the best new plays, nurturing and training artists and young people through Tamasha Developing Artists and enabling theatre makers to engage creatively with communities and audiences.
Successes like East is East, Snookered, Blood and Made in India have won acclaim from critics and audiences alike. In 2016 we partnered with Paines Plough on Come to Where I’m From London – which invited London playwrights to tell their stories, about the city that shaped them for the first time. We presented a series of events across the city representing North, South, East and West London including a hugely popular piece about Cricklewood from Zia Ahmed. Visit www.tamasha.org.uk
